Membership in the Immaculate Conception Legacy Society is open to anyone who has made provision for a gift to the Catholic Church through their estate plans, no matter the size. Recognition is given to those individuals who have notified The Catholic Foundation of the Diocese of Lansing of their plan to leave a future gift in support of their parish, parish school, or other Catholic ministry in the Diocese of Lansing.
There are many forms of legacy gifts. Whether your gift is made through a bequest, trust, retirement plan, life insurance, or other means, your planned gift will be recognized with honorary membership in the Immaculate Conception Legacy Society.
Members are honored with:
- Monthly Mass offered at St. Mary Cathedral for the intentions of our members, living and deceased.
- Personal thank you note from Bishop Boyea.
- Special Mass and private luncheon with Bishop Boyea on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception (December 8).
- Invitations to special events.
- Peace of mind with knowledge your gift will be honored as intended.
- Inspire others to support our Catholic Faith.
How to join the Immaculate Conception Legacy Society
To become a member of the Immaculate Conception Legacy Society, simply print and complete the Confidential Gift Intention Form, which can be found on this page. Once filled out, please mail it back to us using the address provided on the form. This form lets us know of your generous intention to include your parish, parish school, or another Catholic ministry in the Diocese of Lansing in your estate plans. While the details of your gift remain confidential, by sharing your intention, you become part of a special community of faithful stewards committed to supporting the Church's mission for generations to come. As a member, you will be remembered in prayer monthly and receive invitations to special Legacy Society events throughout the year.
